Quality is different from my last visit. Same bowl but with less meat. The soup is not hot. The satay has too much fat. Overall is OK for first timer.

The food was tasty especially for empal asem. It served with 'belimbing wuluh' that made it sour. I thought the meats will serve in huge slices like empal as usual, but the meat served with small slices just like soto sapi..

Wow.... This is the first time I try Empal Gentong in their original place, Cirebon (last time I tried it when I visit Bandung). It's totally different, soooo delicious. It's been a long time since I have such a delicious food to taste, this is really really delicious. The price just Rp 23,000 for that delicious food, what the...Other food you could try is Nasi Lengko (if you feel that Empal Gentong with rice is not enough to fulfill your stomach :) or you could also try Empal Asem (Empal gentong without coconut sauce/santan). They also have satay and it's quite nice. The place has AC place and non AC place for you the smoker one :) Got a spacious mosque also inside if you want to go pray (for Moslem). So in my conclusion, this is the best place for you to have lunch with your family, colleagues or your client.

Got here from a recommendation of my friends. Their empal gentong is good, and their green chilli sambal is really nice and its complete each other between their sambal and their empal gentong. In here you can buy tahu gejrot and es durian too. Overall if you wanted to go to cirebon and eat some good cirebon foods, this place is a must to go to!

It's overpriced despite this place has become popular and well known as Cirebon culinary icon tourism. The taste is noting too spacial for empal gentong. The food services are very fast, bcs they had all the bowl ready with beef slices in the bowl. When the customer order they just pour the bowl with empal gentong sauces. The resto very quite huge and spacious

crowded, but worthed.....I'd suggest have a late lunch to avoid queue...it's signature dish "empal gentong" is tasty

The empal gentong was really nice and delicious!! The best empal gentong ever!! The location is also very convenience. It has air conditioning and it is cool. Also ordered sate kambing (goat satay), it was so tasty too!! Love the meat, it was cooked perfectly. Nasi Lengko is just so-so. Though i am not a big fan of it.

Delicious food at a reasonable price. They serve empal gentong, empal asem, sate kambing and nasi lengko. The place can get very crowded but just be patient because usually people don't spend too long at the restaurant. Bring cash because they don't accept card.

Empal gentong and sate kambing is most recommended. The meat is very tender. Can be quite hectic and crowded on high season but worth it.

First timer here! The flavour of the food did not disappointing at all. We tried Empal Gentong, Empal Asem, Sate Kambing Muda and Nasi Lengko. Empal Gentong and Sate are the must-try food.There are several empal gentong restaurants in this street, but H. Apud is the most crowded. They have several parking lot, the parking attendee will guide you to one of the parking lot.
